Patterson and her specialized staff are dedicated to providing you with a compassionate, supportive and effective bariatric surgery journey. Addition visits or evaluations may be necessary depending on medical history and insurance requirements. After submitting your new patient application, your application will be processed by our insurance staff. You will receive a personalized benefits summary and detailed letter regarding your insurance coverage. While our staff processes your application, we invite you to complete your informational seminar during this time. Your appointments will be scheduled according to your availability and will include the following visits.

Our New Patient Coordinator will contact you to schedule your pre-surgical evaluations once your application has been processed. We ask that all patients complete this required step prior to scheduling their initial pre-surgery evaluations. If you have a BMI over 30, you may qualify for a weight loss surgery procedure. Oregon Weight Loss Surgery offers a variety of bariatric procedures. All evaluations and testing will be scheduled and competed in one clinic visit, with the exception of the psychological evaluation, as this visit is scheduled with a provider outside of our clinic.
